چکیده
In the current study, corn stalk rinds were used as feedstock for production of solid-fuel pellets. an effort to comprehensively analyze effects different operational parameters on physical properties pellets, response surface methodology (RSM) was employed in conjunction with a Box–Behnken experimental design (BBD). By assessing multiple variables simultaneously and examining their interactions, BBD facilitates development reliable model that can predict how changes independent will impact variables. The recorded responses included relaxed density, mechanical durability, compressive strength. Based results, greater R2 values 0.9467, 0.8669, 0.9196, could be, respectively, attained quadratic regression models. analysis variance revealed all had significant responses. optimal processing condition pellets established by determining ideal combination parameters. process entailed choice particle dimension measuring 0.5 mm, moisture level 11.35%, application heat at 125.7 °C die, utilization molding pressure 154.2 MPa. these factors, predicted determined be 1639.61 kg/m3 97.95% 10.18 MPa obtained experimentally under optimized conditions similar desirability value 1.00.

Manufacturing Technology and Parameter Optimization for Composite Board from Corn Stalk Rinds
To improve the bonding strength between adhesive and enhance the performance of composite board made from corn stalk rinds, a method for preparing three-layer composite boards was proposed. Accordingly, corn stalk rinds with the epidermis removed, were used as the core layer, while crushed aggregates from the epidermis were used as the surface layer of the composite board. Single-factor and ort...
متن کاملDissolving Pulp (alpha-cellulose) from Corn Stalk by Kraft Process
Corn stalk can be used as an alternative non-wood raw material to produce cellulosic dissolving grade pulp. In this work, the potential of corn stalk in the production of dissolving pulp (alpha-cellulose) was investigated. It was collect ed from a corn stalk farm of Kermanshah, Iran. The sequences of experimental work were: water and acid prehydrolysis at 160˚C for 30min, followed by Kraft pulp...

Experimental designs were applied for optimizing media and process parameters for hydrogen production from maize stalk hydrolyzate by a newly isolated facultative strain.Plackett-Burman design was used to identify the significant components and using this method the media components - glucose, yeast extract, malt extract, peptone, and NaCl were identified as signi...
متن کاملOptimization of Process Parameters for Vinegar Production Using Banana Fermentation
Vinegar fermentation was essentially a two-step process comprising the anaerobic conversion of sugars to ethanol (C2H5OH) and the aerobic oxidation of ethanol to acetic acid (CH3CO2H). It was to be found that vinegar could be successfully produced from the juice extracted from banana using yeast and Acetobacter. Banana fruit pulp was a suitable raw material for ethanol production by fermentatio...
متن کاملSynthesis of Bio-ethanol from Corn Stalk by Fermentation Process
Ethanol synthesis from corn stalk through fermentation process was studied. The ethanol produced was studied by various enzymatic treatment temperature and different feedstock loading in term of weight. The result shows that the highest concentration of ethanol contained in the sample was 48.90% at enzymatic temperature of 50°C. The temperature for optimum enzyme treatment have been identified ...
